Stevie Roquelaure est originaire de la Guadeloupe, une ile des Antilles Française. Il débuta le kendo en 2001, à l’âge de 23 ans alors qu’il était étudiant à Montréal. Sa première pratique lui laissa une impression très vive de Force, d’Efficacité et de Sobriété. Indélébiles, ces sensations l’accompagnèrent tout au long de son parcours de pratiquant martial, où voyages et rencontres lui permirent de ressentir l’Universalité du kendo. C’est ce témoignage qu’il partage avec une sensibilité kendo où se croisent et se rencontrent les cultures asiatique, occidentale et africaine.
